THE ORIGINS

In 1945, in the heart of Provence, nearby Grasse in the south of France, Cadentia was born. Inspired by Jean Soutter's passion for authentic scents, this artisanal workshop laid the foundations for a timeless savoir-faire dedicated to the creation of perfumes, colognes and home fragrances. Here begins an olfactory adventure that spans the ages.

In 1990, Cadentia moved from Marseille to the suburbs of the emblematic mountain Garlaban in Aubagne. This move symbolized the strengthening of our Provençal identity and the anchoring of traditional know-how.

2010 marks the launch of the private label division, a bold initiative that places Cadentia at the heart of customized creation. By offering turnkey solutions for the development of personalized fragrances, we have won over international brands and become, over the years, a key partner for the perfume industry.

In 2020, facing contemporary challenges, Cadentia transformed itself into a genuine brand of finished products: Laboratoires Cadentia. A range of innovative, high-quality products avalaible for sale in pharmacies and parapharmacies.

In 2025, to better specialized our activities and assert our position in the market, we officially adopt the name Cadentia Group. This new name put the emphasis on the clear distinction between our private label services and our own brands, paving the way for an era of structured and innovative development.
